Meet Alyssa
Alyssa is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Colorado College and her Master of Science in Health Services from George Washington University. Alyssa completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) Diplomate Fellowship, and is a member of professional organizations, including the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Association of Physician Assistants, and the Virtual and Telemedicine Association of Physician Assistants.
Alyssa began her career as an active-duty naval physician assistant, providing primary care services to military members, their families, and veterans. After three years of service, she left active duty to pursue her passion in dermatology.
Alyssa is motivated by the ever-changing and expanding field that dermatology has to offer. She enjoys providing general dermatologic care and cosmetic services, such as neurotoxin and dermal filler injections, to her patients. Alyssa’s expertise includes treating acne, rosacea, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pediatric skin conditions, hidradenitis suppurativa, and hair loss, along with conducting skin cancer screenings and educating about skin cancer detection and prevention. She enjoys helping patients with varying skin conditions and needs.
